Electronic thermal material magazine taken off ice

ELECTRONICS COOLING magazine resumed publication with its Spring 2010 issue print edition.  It was put on hiatus after the Summer 2009 issue while being restructured.  Now published quarterly by ITEM Publications, ElectronicsCooling Magazine targets interests of the electronic thermal management community.

The magazine covers material properties for use in thermal analyses and has covered the most common materials and their associated thermal properties used in electronics packaging, according to the EC website.

For each issue, one of four associate editors acts as editor-in-chief of the issue.  They seek suggestions and ideas from readers, and article queries from individuals and companies.  EC also accepts press releases for possible use in the magazine.

In addition to relaunching the print edition, the website has been redesigned and includes archives of previous issues and other electronics cooling material.  Check out the Spring 2010 edition at the website.  Circulation is estimated to be 16,000.
