What do you do after winning your first Pulitzer? You start a magazine

THE HUFFINGTON POST MAGAZINE will be unveiled on April 24, marking The Huffington Post’s entry into the world of digital magazine publishing.

The iPad-only weekly will be divided into three segments, with the front-of-book devoted to the week’s top stories and events, including infographics and Q&A features.  Readers will find longer features of 4,000 to 8,000 words, with more in-depth coverage, in the mid-section.  The back-of-book will be reserved for lighter fare, such as reviews of books, films and music.

The online news site’s executive editor, Tim O’Brien, tim.obrien@huffingtonpost.com and @TimOBrien, will serve in the same capacity for the magazine.  O’Brien says the new publication will be “a place where we can silo our best work and give it longer legs.”  Visit www.huffingtonpost.com for more information.
