Another defunct men’s magazine rises from the ashes

BEST LIFE magazine, targeting successful, affluent men, is relaunching with a fall/winter issue, after ceasing print in May 2009.

Covering topics such as family, relationships and career, the revived luxury publication aims to help men “live the good life.”

Rodale already has plans for a second issue in the spring.  Editorial director David Zinczenko and Editor-in-Chief Steve Perrine, steve.perrine@rodale.com, will once again lead Best Life.  There is no active website at this time.

Chew on this: A new magazine is set to debut for the teething set

HIGHLIGHTS HELLO, a new magazine for toddlers through age two, will debut in January of 2013.

The new children’s publication features short, read-aloud stories and poems, paired with illustrations designed to appeal to the youngest readers, and Highlight’s signature picture puzzles.  Advice for parents from pediatricians, psychologists and educators is included in the magazine’s envelope.

Conceived as a way to encourage reading, early language development and quality parent-child time, the magazine is printed with non-toxic ink on durable, washable paper.  HIGHLIGHTS Editor-in-Chief, Christine French Cully, eds@highlights-corp.com, will lead the monthly.  Find more information at www.highlights.com/highlights-hello-magazine-for-kids.
