A new Canadian print magazine covers print magazines

CANADIAN MAGAZINES CANADIENS is a new biannual magazine about the Canadian publishing scene.  Publisher Magazines Canada will launch the first edition in February 2011.

The editorial content will focus on the strengths, accomplishments and issues facing the Canadian magazine industry.  “The genesis of the project came from discussions with suppliers interested in a print vehicle capable of showcasing just how engaging magazines are and can be,” said Mark Jamison, the CEO of Magazines Canada, in an interview.

The target audience will be opinion leaders, publishing companies and associations with the first edition being given to Canadian Members of Parliament.
