Canadian Family relaunches parenting website…with more changes to come

CANADIAN FAMILY magazine unveiled a new and improved parenting website this month; Five years after launching the site, the editorial staff wanted to offer better access to content and more interactive tools.

Online visitors will find sections tabbed according to age, so parents can more easily find the relevant information they need. Other tabbed sections include:

  • Grownups, covering relationships, finances, travel and organization
  • Food, with recipes and nutritional information
  • Fun, containing ideas for crafts, activities, parties and entertainment

According to Chris Skinner, the magazine’s executive producer, the evolution at Canadian Family will continue. “We’re also growing our team for the first time, with two new editors hired in the past month; Ali Martell has joined us as senior associate editor, and Alicia McAuley is our associate editor.” Skinner says they will work with executive editor and senior producer, Megan McChesney, to create more original content in the coming months.
