SPIN* magazine will switch from a monthly to a bimonthly, beginning with the March issue.  In print for 26 years, the alternative music publication also will expand its online presence, move to a larger print format and cut its rate base from 450,000 to 350,000; www.spin.com

10/12 MAGAZINE, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, will cease print at the end of the year.  The business quarterly was launched four years ago in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.  The final print issue will ship in November, and the website and weekly e-newsletter will be discontinued as well…

REAL SIMPLE* lost associate food editor Emily McKenna.  No replacement has been announced…

ENROUTE* in-flight magazine lost senior editor Isa Tousignant.  There is no replacement at this time…
