Web-to-print: Style.com’s print magazine spin-off targets an e-audience

STYLE.COM/PRINT, the long-awaited print spin-off from Style.com finally hits newsstands next week, and Conde Nast is giving people a peek at the inaugural issue.

The print publication is meant to evoke the website experience.  With editorial content focused on spring fashion from the runway shows, the new glossy largely contains photographic spreads, but is light on copy.  Readers will find collections of Twitter messages and a variety of lists (best-of, most-viewed), a Q & A and a few articles about prominent designers.  The current issue also includes a photo essay featuring the cover’s teen model.

The editor-in-chief is Dirk Standen, dirk_standen@condenast.com.  Visit the magazine website at www.style.com/magazine.
