A new trade magazine targets top pharmaceutical execs

NEW PHARMA MAGAZINE, a publication for top level executives in the pharmaceutical industry, launched on March 14.

The new magazine aims to provide thought-provoking articles on various sectors of the pharmaceutical industry, including those for generic, over-the-counter, biosimilar and animal health.  There also will be a focus on emerging markets and on long-term strategies within the industry.

From website to a print magazine: ‘Funny or Die’ produces a new bimonthly

THE OCCASIONAL, a new iPad-only magazine from the well-know humor site Funny or Die, launched in early March.

Featuring original content, the digital publication includes celebrity interviews, political commentary, movie reviews, magazine parodies, videos and games.

Published bimonthly, the magazine is available from iTunes.  The editor-in-chief is Dan Abramson, no email available, @danabramson.  The Occasional has no separate website at this time.

A new publication covers the business of crafts

CRAFT INDUSTRY TODAY, the official magazine for The Craft and Hobby Association (CHA), is set to debut in April, and targets professional crafters, designers, retail buyers of craft products, and wholesale distributors.

The quarterly will feature how-to articles and industry news, as well as information about exhibitions, retail sales, web optimization and emerging technology in the craft business.
