Huffington Post is planning tablet-only business magazine

Huffington Post is said to be preparing a weekly tablet-only digital magazine, currently with the working name Huffington, according to forbes.com.

Like The Daily, the News Corp.’s tablet newspaper, Huffington will be designed as an app rather than a mobile-optimized website, a Huffington Post spokesman has confirmed. It “will reflect the Huffington Post’s mix of original journalism and aggregated news, possibly with a small number of stories commissioned specifically for the magazine.”

The Huffington Post’s executive editor Tim O’Brien is in charge.
