CNet is a new lifestyle 128-page magazine that launched this week with 200,000 copies and all original content.
“The idea from the outset was that CNET did not want to be a tech insider publication.” The quarterly is “focused on giving consumers a lifestyle” rather than in-depth technology coverage, to help readers “who want to understand how these technologies make their lives better.” It features interviews with celebrities and visionaries, tech tricks, new product reviews and, of course, a gift guide – all original to the print title.
There are two editors-in-chief: Lindsey Turrentine, lindsey.turrentine@cnet.com, @lturrentine, editor-in-chief of CNET.com, and Connie Guglielmo, connie.guglielmo@cnet.com, @techledes, editor-in-chief of CNET News.
